Mr. Koh Guan Hoe
Principal to Kiwanis Careheart Centre For the Intellectually Disabled, Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia
College of Allied Educators projects a very good image of a professional training institution. I was at this College in 2010 to enrich myself in Learning Disorder Management. I was very impressed by the way the Diploma course was conducted.
Lectures were interesting and notes were well-prepared.
In view of its high standard of performance I decided to recommend such courses to be conducted in Johor Bahru, Johor. We have since conducted both certificate and diploma courses in Learning Disorder Management, Basic Couselling and Counselling Psychology. Many teachers, parents, caregivers and welfare organisation volunteers benefited from these courses.
Given the opportunity College of Allied Educators will definitely do well in the area of education.
Mr. Peng Hoei Gan
CEO of Cognitive Development Learning Center
I attended a course at College of Allied Educators formerly known as Linguistic Council, that showed me the way forward to help children with learning differences. The lecturers are great, the people are friendly and most of all they really care about helping parents, teachers, coaches and aspiring adults to support not only their kids but all the kids that need their help... I would recommend everyone who wants to support these very special children to sign up ... every child you help, is another child that will have a much better childhood and a much brighter future as an adult.
Pam Philix (Mrs)
Allied Educator, MOE Regent Secondary School
I first found College of Allied Educators when I was struggling to teach my seven year old daughter reading. I did a Certificate course and it opened the doors to the world of Special Needs. As I became more aware of people with different learning disablities and special needs through the course and the attachments I was sent to, I became passionate about working with children with special needs. As I struggled with helping my daughter (who was later diagnosed to have dyslexia) to cope with school, I wanted to help other children like her. I then made a decision to leave my banking career of 22 years and become a special needs officer with MOE.
Now I work in a Secondary school that includes children with various learning and behavioural disorders. I want to thank College of Allied Educators for being the first stepping stone in my new career which makes my life a more meaningful one.

Dear College of Allied Educators,
As the result of my last module is out, I would like to send this mail of compliment and thanks for Andrea Mayrhofer.
Andrea is simply the best teacher I ever had! She is caring, patience and when she taught, she taught with her heart and passion.
What really impressed me most is that when she taught us, she taught not just with the objective of imparting skills and knowledge. Instead she taught with the purpose of making us counsellors.
And above all, she has a concern for the students that is way above what is expected of in teachers.
Presently, I am providing counselling service inside prison and what she has taught has allowed me to help my clients effectively.
She is such an inspiration to me and I wish her all that is good and best.
Thank you.

To Whom It May Concern:
I am an expatriate living in Singapore. As a qualified Primary Teacher, I believe the above course has enhanced my understanding of learning disorders and how to assist children with special needs in their learning. The module on Child Psychology and Speech and Language Development furthered my knowledge and understanding of how children develop and further heightened my teaching abilities. The Counselling course helped me facilitate relationships both personally and professionally.
The course was flexible and efficiently run by Catherine Low, the Programme Manager. On the other hand, the College staff well-informed, helpful and supportive.

Hi Catherine,
I recently completed the 'Diploma in Learning Disorder Management and Child Psychology' from the College of Allied Educators, Singapore. Through this course I learned better critical thinking skills and gained a valuable grasp of the core subjects. This knowledge helped me tremendously in better understanding my own children, as well as provided me a new career direction.
College of Allied Educators has therefore my highest recommendation.

Hi All,
Being trained as a teacher for mainstream school, I wanted to specialise in Special Needs Education so that I have a better understanding of Children’s behaviour and learning style. I am absolutely confident that I made the right choice when I selected College of Allied Educators.
The teachers at this institute are passionate, dedicated and above all helpful. Any questions or concerns have always been promptly addressed.
The faculty Nancy, Catherine, Kathy, Danny and James are very supportive and approachable and are more than willing to assist any time I need them. The time-to-time survey for their quest to improve their service is indeed commendable.
The flexible programs that are offered have allowed me the opportunity to further my education and I am glad that I decided to choose College of Allied Educators.
Thank You!

Dearest Kathy,
I would like to thank School of Linguistics especially you, Catherine, Danny and Zhao Wei, etc for the help and encouragement you have rendered me by taking away my anxieties. It definitely takes lots of perseverance to attend class even once a week after a day work with exam, tests, and assessment. But the hardwork I have put in has made me secure a place in KKH in Child Development Unit. Without the Course I would be just doing the same old work for the last 6 years. I will enjoy my holiday with my husband in Beijing from 15th March to 22nd March. God Bless and Happy Good Friday.
Sincere thanks again,

A very good day to Everyone!
It is a great feeling to know that I have completed the course. Thinking back, I have just started in April with lots of enthusiasm but now after 6 months of good stress, its all over.
I had so much fun at School of Lingusitic, it felt different from other schools and it made me feel warm and welcome with its special personal touch. Lecturers were very knowledgeable and unselfish in sharing their personal experiences. The course has given me an eye opener to a lot of things around me.
The Language class has showed me the common mistakes I have made in my daily life which needs improvement. Counselling helps me to learn to listen better to others and speak when necessary. Learning disability has given me an eye opener and taught me the importance of being patient. It was a wonderful experience at St Clare and OT clinic.
I would like to specially thank Mr. Prakash for his interesting lessons in Child Psychology. I have gained a lot of knowledge during the class and it has helped me to understand and bond with my teenage son better.
Lastly, I would like to thank Catherine, Kathy and Danny for being so helpful and patient with me. I will miss your sweet smiles, ladies and Danny’s delicious biscuits!
Take care and all the best! Regards,
Christina Tan

To my dear Lecturers,
A short note to express my thank yous for your time and superb deliverance of the respective topics, and sharing your experiences with the class. I had always look forward to those Wednesday night lectures. At lunch time today, I have returned to collect my Diploma. Holding my Diploma in my hand now and looking at the results, it is worth those weekends coming into the office to study and work on the assignments given (I do not have a PC at home and with the blessings of a very good boss who allows me to utilize my office PC) + those Wednesday nights.
The joy felt is overwhelming and a wonderful sense of satisfaction + meeting all my acquaintances at College of Allied Educators. Also a big thank you to a great team of staff @ CAE too. The journey does not end here and will always aim to pursue further. My sincere gratitude must be sent as without all of you, I will not achieve this Diploma.
Best wishes and kindest regards,
Mary Maloney
